There was no meeting, however, it was announced that The Smuggler’s Notch trip to Burlington Vermont will be on January 13, 14 and 15. The following people are booked at the Anchorage Inn across from the Burlington Mall (special low rate) to attend the Snow Party Event:
Carolyn and Gene Kaczka were planning on attending but Gene had a business trip to France and Carolyn had a hike.
Everyone was invited to join in and were reminded: You don’t have to ski, you can shop (Mall and other great stores across the street), eat (5 Restaurants in walking distances), and socialize (Happy Hour by the pool and Jacuzzi).
The Whiteface Mountain Ski Trip will be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 17th, 18th and 19th.
The Metcalf’s are shopping for a place in Lake Placid with a pool and hot tub. Since most folks
won’t ski and will want to shop, relax, eat, and socialize. The people who have shown an interest in
the Whiteface Trip are:
Bob and Sue Meyer and son David, Will and Cathy Mitchell, Jutta & Joe Fitzsimons, and Carolyn & Gene
Kaczka.
We will give details on this trip at the January 28th meeting at the Nelsons.
Heather and Russ Nelson will host the Ski Club (cross country and snow shoe) meeting at their house on Saturday, January 28th. Heather will be the caller for this meeting.
After the announcements the Christmas ritual of “sharing” gifts began with gusto and as usual everyone had fun.
Many beautiful Christmas songs were sung, including the customary 12 days of Christmas, with Ron Frazer the star with his “Five Golden Rings”.
