Ed and Lorraine Kear, Bill and Chrystal Hayman, Marta and Gabor Forgacs, Bob and Shirley Metcalf,  and Buckley Riggs went to Mt. Tremblant for a fun filled weekend on March 25 -27. We stayed at the Mariotte on the mountain, which Gabor was kind enough to arrange for us, it was an excellent choice.

The Metcalf’s arrived on Thursday to hit the slopes early to try out their new scalloped skis.  The rest of the gang showed up on Friday.  The Kear’s, the Metcalf’s and Buckley had a great dinner  together on Friday night and caught up on all the news.

Everyone skied on Saturday and had a fun time.  The group met at the top of the mountain lodge for lunch.  It was a beautiful, sunny, warm spring day. The snow was soft and the place was packed with sun and ski worshippers.

Marta and Gabor invited everyone to a cocktail party at their lovely, new home right on the mountain.  It is a beautiful home filled with the love and interesting features - like heated floors!  We enjoyed good conversation, wine, and food and then all went off to a quaint little Italian Restaurant that the Forgacs’ frequent.  We dined and talked until 11:00 pm; a wonderful evening. The next morning we had breakfast and headed for another sunny spring day on the slopes.  All in all - a good time was had by all.
