The meeting was called to order by Shirley Metcalf.
The minutes of the April 17, 2005 Meyer’s meeting were read and approved.
The Treasury balance is $41.83.
Old business:
Louise Straub was present for the meeting and thanked all the members for the thoughtful birthday card, a round of Happy Birthday was sung for Louise.
New business:
At this time there is no summer meeting scheduled, maybe one of the Snowbirds will volunteer?
Saturday, September 10, 2005, 2 PM, Joanne & Dick Partch will host the Lamb Roast meeting at their home. Jutta Fitzsimons and Louise Straub volunteered to be the callers for the meeting and were provided with a calling list.
Saturday, October 8, 2005, 5 PM, Jutta & Joe Fitzsimons volunteered to host the Fall Leaf peeking meeting.
The Metcalfs plan on hosting the Thanksgiving meeting and Christmas is open to who ever wants to host this fun and festive meeting.
There was a short discussion on a telephone call received from someone to join the Ski Club, the request was a result of scanning the web site. The people were advised that membership was on an invitation basis only and by one of the Ski Club members.
Shirley made an announcement that Sue Gibbs was volunteer of the year at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital, and everyone gave her a round of applause.
The big winners at Derby Day were Tellie & Dave Bray with a whopping $26.00.
