Aurora Borealis
After watching a TV program by Char Jorgenson on Bear Claw variations,
I decided to try my hand at expanding the block in all directions.
The result was something similar to the finished wall hanging. But
when it reminded me of the aurora borealis I made a few more
modifications, chose some glitzy fabrics and got out the serger.
I don't think I would use the serger again as correcting mistakes was
next to impossible. Made in the summer of 1995.
