The fabric for the center patches was chosen by her mother. Each animal was outline quilted and lightly stuffed. The pattern is I believe a variation of the "Double Irish Chain" called "Irish Evening", adjusted to fit the center patches.

The quilt was made in Jan. 1995 -- hand pieced and hand quilted.
